A comforting vegan London Fog tea latte. This simple latte is made with Earl Grey tea, almond milk (or plant-based milk of choice) and vanilla. It only requires 5 minutes of preparation and is perfectly infused with a light vanilla flavor.
A cozy tea latte for the colder seasons. I originally shared this delicious London Fog in 2019 while we stayed in London for a month. I learned at the time, while looking for England-inspired recipes to share, that the London Fog originated in Vancouver. So it’s only appropriate that I update this old favorite recipe with new photos and extra details while I now live in Vancouver.
I hope that you’ll enjoy this homemade vegan London Fog as much as I do.
Here’s how to make a simple vegan London Fog tea latte at home.
Start by steeping your Earl Grey tea in hot water. I love to steep it for a good 5 minutes so that the tea is nice and strong.
Meanwhile, heat your milk in a saucepan and whisk until frothy. You could also use a milk steamer if you have one. Once done, whisk in the vanilla.
Pour the warm, frothy almond milk in the tea. Done!

I love how warming and cozy a london fog is. Perfect for the winter months. I used to always order these at Starbucks before going vegan, and don't know why I've stopped enjoying them. Thanks for re-inspiring me to sip and savour this cozy drink.
Hi Hannah! Thank you so much. Thankfully they're so easy to make vegan at home. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. :) Have a great week!
How are you going to call a drink vegan and then suggest that you add honey? Honey isn't vegan.
Thank you for your concern. I'm aware that honey is not vegan. This recipe is vegan and honey is not part of the recipe. I only mentioned that honey would work as a sweetener option, but I should have mentioned "if you're not vegan". It's been adjusted. My blog is welcome to all eaters, vegan or not, which is why I had originally mentioned it.
Just made this, so good! Thank you!
Thank you Tara, I'm so happy that you enjoyed it!
