Ingredients

Quick Pizza Dough

  • 2 1/4 teaspoon instant dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 cup all-purpose white flour, spoon and leveled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fine grain sea salt

Pizza Toppings

  • 1 batch Buffalo soy curls (recipe below)
  • 1 1/2 cup kale, chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup vegan cheese of choice, more or less to taste (see notes)

Tahini Caesar Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine grain sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon water, or more as needed

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450℉. Line a baking sheet or pizza sheet with parchment paper if needed.

Prepare the Pizza Dough

  • Add the yeast, sugar and warm water to a medium mixing bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes or until the yeast foams.
  • Add the flour, salt and oil. Stir until combined. Shape into a ball and add more flour as needed if the dough is too sticky. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Spread the dough on a round pan, lined with parchment paper if needed. Sprinkle with flour again as needed if the dough is sticky. Avoid adding too much or the dough will be dry.

Prepare the Buffalo Soy Curls

  • Prepare one batch of Buffalo soy curls following the recipe below. Skip the air frying step.

Prepare the Pizza

  • Spread a few tablespoons of Buffalo sauce on the prepared pizza dough.
  • Add the Buffalo soy curls, sliced red bell peppers and chopped kale evenly on the pizza dough. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 450℉ or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • While the pizza is in the oven, prepare the Caesar dressing. In a small bowl or jar, combine all the ingredients other than water. Add water as needed until you reach your desired consistency. Drizzle over the pizza before serving. Cut the pizza into 8 slices. Enjoy!

Notes

To save time, you can use store-bought vegan Caesar dressing, Buffalo sauce and pizza dough.
This pizza dough recipe is strongly inspired by this recipe.
You can try making this pizza dough with whole wheat flour, but it will be more dense. I would recommend using white flour for the best results or mixing white and whole wheat flour.
If you have any leftover Caesar dressing, I recommend serving it with massaged kale or other leafy greens. You can enjoy a simple salad on the side, or serve it on top of the pizza. Trust me, it's delicious!
Vegan Mozzarella, Cheddar and Parmesan all work well with this recipe. Use your favorite brand. I personally use Daiya or Violife.
